Oceanski anoksi\u010dni doga\u0111aji predstavljaju globalna krizna razdoblja planeta Zemlje. Glavne karakteristike ovih, geolo\u0161ki gledano relativno kratkotrajnih epizoda su stratifikacija vodenog stupca i pad oksigenacije u razli\u010ditim horizontima oceana. Inicijalni uzrok su masivne vulkanske erupcije, a direktna posljedica izumiranje pojedinih skupina organizama i evolucija niza novih biljnih i \u017eivotinjskih vrsta. Projekt GEACAP fokusiran je na tri glavna anoksi\u010dna doga\u0111aja koji su ostavili mjerljive i dokazane tragove (geokemijske, biolo\u0161ke, litolo\u0161ke) u paleookoli\u0161ima plitkomorske Jadranske karbonatne platforme: toarcijski anoksi\u010dni doga\u0111aj (T-OAE), oceanski anoksi\u010dni doga\u0111aj OAE2 (Bonarelli) i oceanski anoksi\u010dni doga\u0111aj OAE3. Specifi\u010dnost globalnih anoksija u plitkomorskim naslagama nekada\u0161nje Jadranske karbonatne platforme su intervali bogati organskom tvari s negativnim otklonom koncentracije omjera stabilnih izotopa ugljika, o\u0161tra granica izumiranja pojedinih organizama i promjene facijesa…<\/p>\n
